What is CCC?
It
is our philosophy at CCC that preschool children learn best by developing
a positive image of self, God and the world around them. Social
interaction, physical development, spiritual enrichment and readiness
skills all play an integral role in our curriculum. "Creative
Curriculum” is our base standards used by our teaching staff.
Pre-K children
will be exposed to essential learning opportunities that will enhance
their elementary school experience (i.e., language development,
visual discrimination, introduction to the alphabet and phonics,
science, computers, Spanish, etc.). It is our belief that the development
of a child's creative expression through art, crafts, music, organized
play and free play will lead each child to acquire the necessary
skills for a successful kindergarten experience.
This sound early
childhood education is set in a distinctively Christian context
where Bible stories and verses, as well as Christian love and respect
for others are integrated into daily activities.
Parental Participation
Parent support
is critical to a child's education. We encourage parents to review
materials in your child's backpack and to be familiar with the curriculum
calendar so you will know what's happening in your child's class.
Extra helping hands are needed occasionally. Please consult
with your child’s teacher in advance.
