Betsy Bone

Mrs. Bone not only shares her talent
with us at Wekiva Presbyterian, but is also the director of the
Maitland Youth Community Choir. She has spent the last 11 years
directing and developing the Children's and Youth choir programs
in an area church.
Prior to this she studied voice privately,
sang with the Camerata Chorus of the Orlando Opera Co., as well
as Orlando XII, and the DaCapo Camerata. She was a Resident Artist
for the Orlando Opera Co. in 1990-91. During the summer of 1992,
she was a student at the American Institute of Musical Studies in
Graz, Austria. Mrs. Bone received her BME from Illinois Wesleyan
University in Bloomington, IL in 1982 and went on to teach in a
middle school in Alton, IL for two years. She has grown up surrounded
by music and shares her love and appreciation of music with her
husband, Dan, and her two children, Emily and Jeffrey.
